Carbon ceramic siliconization is a special ceramic material treatment method that involves infiltrating silicon elements into the interior of the carbon ceramic body to increase the hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the ceramic material.
Principle of carbon ceramic melting and siliconizing furnace
The front-end process will contain a mixture of ceramic particles and carbon. This can be achieved by mixing ceramic particles and carbon powder, and then forming a ceramic matrix through methods such as pressing and sintering.
Carbon ceramic melting and siliconizing furnace penetrates silicon element: Because the prepared carbon ceramic matrix usually has an open pore structure, this allows silicon element to penetrate into the interior of the carbon ceramic matrix under higher temperature conditions. A common method is to place the carbon ceramic matrix in a silicon-rich environment and heat it to a certain temperature so that the silicon element can diffuse into the pores of the ceramic matrix.
Diffusion and solidification of silicon element: During the infiltration process, silicon element will gradually enter the interior of the carbon ceramic matrix through diffusion. Once the desired silicon concentration is reached, the temperature is usually lowered and solidification and crystallization processes are performed to ensure the stable presence of silicon in the ceramic matrix.
Ceramic Sintering Furnace Maximum temperature 2300℃
Temperature uniformity: <3℃
Round or square furnace can be customized
Extremely high pressure difference control capability can effectively prevent the backflow contamination of the workpiece by the secondary silicon vapor of the heating and insulation materials during the heating process.
